High On Fire
High On Fire is another metal band who have been around for over a decade, playing a style of metal that is most similar to doom metal. They should turn in a performance similar to that by The Sword at Bonnaroo 2008, although High On Fire looks the metal part more than The Sword. It will be a toss-up as to who I enjoy more between High On Fire and The Dillinger Escape Plan, but I could see High On Fire really impressing me if I’m in a metal mood on Sunday. All I know is that I hate that Citizen Cope and Todd Snider’s sets overlap with High On Fire’s. Oh well, Bonnaroo likes to break up the crowds. Also, I’ve seen hundreds of metal shows, so the bar for metal performances has been set pretty high for me.
