I am very excited to watch this very talented acoustic guitar instrumental duo perform. I share metal roots with them. I know that they do covers of Metallica (“Orion,” “One”), but it would be interesting if they covered some more obscure metal as well. I enjoy their originals and I especially enjoy Gabriela’s percussion on the guitar. Seeing them on the main stage may take away some from the magic, but then again they are certainly talented enough to fill the stage. I’ll certainly do some dancing to their tunes. I must admit that I will extract at least a half an hour from their set to go watch Allen Toussaint’s Sonic Stage set. That’s part of the joys of Bonnaroo: it’s like being a football coach with two very talented quarterbacks.
